The project comprises of 5 apartment buildings. Each of the proposed masses is articulated as an intersection of two volumes, thereby softening the scale of individual buildings in the design. This approach also creates recessed floors and rooftop terraces. This compositional element is further emphasized by a facade framing element outlining each mass. Individual floors and balconies are articulated into dominant horizontal layers following the stratified logic of volcanic rock structures, referencing the geological origin of this area.
